in interactive marketing and technology, today announced the
appointment of Matt Kain to senior vice president of its North American
search division. In his new capacity, Mr. Kain will oversee the entire
North American staff of 24/7 Search and help spearhead the company’s
broader efforts to continue building on its leadership position in the
global search engine marketing industry, with a particular emphasis on
the U.S. market.
Mr. Kain formerly
served as general manager at Decide Interactive, the search engine
marketing firm acquired by 24/7 Real Media in August 2004. Over the
past three years, he successfully managed the sales, client service and
production teams utilizing Decide Interactive’s critically acclaimed
Decide DNA system to deliver managed search marketing services to
leading global advertisers.

In addition, he played a strategic role in helping Decide establish its U.S. business by designing the company’s U.S. structure and business operations. Prior to working at Decide Interactive, Mr. Kain worked in online ad sales for a leading financial Web site in the UK.
