Jack Smith came to 24/7 Real Media in October 2001 after the merger of Real Media and 24/7 Media. He is currently responsible for Product Strategy for the company. He began with Real Media in Media Services, a consulting division within the company, in October 1999. Previously, Mr. Smith worked at Manpower International where he was responsible for internet and global distance learning projects. Prior to Manpower, he worked at Hearst Broadcasting as Director of Operations for the WISN Division, where he was responsible for all aspects of on-air products for both news talk and music format radio stations. In 1995, Mr. Smith was the co-founder of an Internet consulting company that built Web strategies for art galleries, extreme sports personalities, and luxury consumer brands. He has lectured on media for audiences on 5 continents and written for a variety of on and offline magazines including Newsweek.
