Win over $20,000 in cash and prizes

The LFMP ‘Video Meets Baby Boomers’ Contest is all about understanding people age 50+ and their interaction with digital media and technology. And who better to help us understand this evolution into technology than you - the aspiring film maker looking to get discovered? Or you’re a student involved in marketing, sociology, or media studies?

The truth is that regardless of whom you might be, we just can’t do this without you…

We believe in your ability to show something insightful and compelling, to provide true qualitative learning from an unbiased perspective. Simply shoot, edit and upload, and you will have the opportunity to present your video at an upcoming WPP Digital Media Summit packed with advertising innovators, media executives and decision makers from some of the most influential global brands. Think of the doors this could open or how nice this will look on your resume!

(Oh, we also thought some cash for tuition, film equipment, or whatever might help too.)

For reference, Lean Forward Media Project 1.0 ‘What’s Clicking with Kids’ focused on youth and their interactions with digital media and technology. Through first person interviews with kids, we were able to glean various insights about them beyond the standard statistics. From the diversity of kids and their age group’s micro segments, to their preference to communicate passively over digital means, as well as their dependence on mobile devices and attitudes towards digital advertising, we really gained some valuable insight and this year are banking on you to make this even better…
