Your privacy and the protection of your personal information is important to us. This privacy policy applies to the LFMP 2.0 ‘Video Meets Baby Boomers’ Contest (the “Contest”), and describes exactly what types of information we will keep about entrants, the reasons why we need this information, and what we will and will not do with it.
What information do we collect?
For the purposes of the Contest, entrants will have to submit their video entry along with some personal information (name, e-mail address, postal address, and phone number) when they register to enter the contest.
What we do with the information?
We will retain this information for the purposes of running the Contest, contacting you in regards to your entry, and, in some cases, for marketing purposes. Unless your entry is selected as a winning entry or finalist or used for marketing purposes, your personal information will not be transferred, sold, assigned, or used for any other purpose. We will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the circumstances described herein.
Who we may share the information with?
To this end, we may need to pass the information we collect to other companies for our administrative purposes only. These organizations include 24/7 Real Media, Inc., the Media Innovation Group, LLC, M80, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, distributors, web design, advertising, fulfillment, insurance agencies, judging and Contest agencies involved in the administration, development, fulfillment and execution of this Contest (collectively, "Contest Parties"). Contest Parties may be used to carry out certain activities, such as processing and sorting data, monitoring how customers use our site and issuing our e-mails for us. Rest assured that no third parties will be allowed to use your personal information for their own purposes, unrelated to the purposes described above.
Other responsibilities
We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Contest’s Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law.
In the event that one of the Contest parties is acquired or merged into a third party, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Confidentiality and Security
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect against the unauthorized access to, retention of, and disclosure of data. This includes undertaking necessary physical, electronic, and management activities required to protect data integrity, access, and use. Any data that is stored on our servers is treated as confidential information. Please keep in mind, however, that despite these reasonable efforts to protect data on our servers, no method of transmission over the Internet is guaranteed to be secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your data at all times, we cannot guarantee its absolute security and shall not be liable for any breach of security by an outside party.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy periodically to become aware of any changes that may have occurred.
Children’s Privacy
